I'm in the Sillicon Valley area (around Palo Alto/Mountain View). I'd be happy to talk anytime that you want to. It's nice to know that there's someone else with I.C. in the Bay Area, I've been wondering lately if I was the only one....
Hi ... I'm over here in Pleasanton.

hi bill how r u? pleasanton is nice huh? how long have you had ic?
I've had IC for 16 years. I enjoy living in Pleasanton. It still has a little of the small town charm. I've lived here since 1992. But, before that I lived over on the Peninsula ... so I'm familiar with the San Mateo area. After the heat of this past summer, I could easily be convinced to move to the beach or mountains. Earlier in my career I had the opportunity to work from Lake Tahoe for three years and I really enjoyed my time up there. I miss the natural beauty and serenity. But, Pleasanton is a nice town.
I've learned a lot about my IC over the years and I am able to quietly manage it on a daily basis.

I live in the San Jose Area. There are actually lots of Northern California folks on this board -- in fact sometimes it's almost seemed like everyone is either from Northern California or the South! Does it feel like that to anyone else? I'd love to see a geographical break-down of the users on this site, just to see if there are any patterns.

I'm from Santa Cruz. I feel like I'm the only one in the county. It's nice knowing there are other people nearby who can relate to what I'm going through.

I'm from San Bruno here. Doesn't it get horribly hot and cold in Pleasenton since its inland? I remember visting a cousin there over 4th of July and it was almost 100 degrees.
Hi sigh ... you're right, it is always warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter over here. I used to live over on the Peninsula and I can appreicate the great weather over there. Pleasanton is a nice town. I noticed on your profile that you are 18 ... that is too young to have to fight IC, I will include you in my prayers.

I live in the Bay Area too! Santa Rosa to be specific.
Going thru a terrible flare tonight - haven't had an episode
like this in a couple years! I can't remember what to do with
home remedies around the house. I tried the heating pad, resting,
TUMS, anti-inflammatories, and water. Am I forgetting anything?
I have terrible pressure and pain with some blood during urination.
