Does anyone else do coupons?

I used to be into couponing big time. Would spend hours on the internet at coupon swapping web sites. There were times when I had $80.00 in coupons. :woohoo: Just wondering if anyone else is into coupons big time also? They don't seem to put anymore good ones in the papers or on those web sites.

Wow, I too used to be a huge couponer!! I told my hubby just the other day I wanted to get a subscription to the major Sunday paper so I can get them again! LOL I loved my coupons, what a great feeling to pay very little for a whole lot of stuff at the grocery!!!

Hmmmm, you have me thinking about it again. I even used to have a subscription to a refund magazine-thing, no time for that, but want to get couponing again. Will come in handy since hubby gets layed off in the winter!!

Yes I am a coupon user and probably will be as long as they put them out. Of course, there are not near as many coupons in the papers as there were about 20 years ago (used to get a Wednesday paper that had a HUGE section of coupons in there), now only Sunday papers. Also, once in awhile I will but lots of certain coupons on ebay. I do subscribe to one refund magazine, as I love to read the stories about how everyone saves.

I, too, used to be a coupon user. When my girls were young & I was raising them on just my income, it was a necessity!! The Sunday paper used to have tons of coupons - I notice now that there's very few & the ones that are in there are all specialty items, things a hard working single mom would never think of buying. Since my girls are now grown, I don't use coupons. However, my local store has "specials" each week & I do use their flyer in the Sunday paper to see if there's anything I can save a little on.

I'm also a big fan of Dollar General. Even tho I don't have to watch my pennies anymore - there's nothing better than that feeling of having saved money!!!

I pick-up the Sunday paper (Saturday night :) ) just to look at the ads and clip coupons. I don't save tons but every penny counts.

We get lots of Costco coupons that I do use, but I don't spend enough time on reading the ads to really benefit from other coupons.

Yeah...I use coupons but not as much as I should. I cut them out of the flyers in our Sunday paper, but always forget to take them when I go shopping. I even shop at a double coupon store and still forget. It does seem like they are not offering the "usually" bought coupons any longer. They have stuff that I wouldn't buy even if I did remember to bring the coupons. Just trying to hook us, I guess.
