Hi, I am looking for a support group in the city of Hacienda Heights, La Puente or West Covina, California. I am 41 and have young kids. It would be great to have another mom to talk to while the kids played. Even though my husband is understanding, nobody truly understands unless one is inflicted with IC. I would like to share coping strategies, support one another and learn how to deal better with life and IC.

Saw your email from September, hope you found some support near you.
I was diagnosed 09/06 after having a fibroid removed from my uterus.

I am 43 and a mother of 1 almost 22 month old. It is scary to have IC.
I am not taking the Elmiron right now and actually I am taking nothing... Sort of in denial and trying to conquer with Diet and excercise. I see my Uro on Wednesday for f/u rescue tmt and cystoscopy to r/o bladder CA or tumors.

Not sure about doing it but want to get a "definitive" Dx.
