I posted about 4 or 5 months ago about these new self instills I have been doing. I heard from one other person who was also doing them. Is there anybody out there that is using crushed Cytotec, Elmiron powder and Lidocaine instills? My Dr. wants me to do them everyday, but after a few days, I feel like my bladder has been punctured and I lay off of them for a couple of days.
Also, when I went for a follow up, she said she didn't want to scare me, but one of her IC patients now has bladder cancer and she is strongly recommending that a hydro/cysto be done at least once a year. She is always doing research on IC and is very open to anything I bring up and I soooo appreciate her.
Has anyone out there have bladder cancer?? Did you have IC then get dx?
