My precious little girl is soooo growing up on me! She will be eight on Monday. Ok, hang on while I wipe my eyes....:shake:

So with this having been a C R A Z Y year and all, I just wasn't up to trying to do another big party this year. After talking to her and asking her if she would be willing to do something really fun with her best friend and we let the little girl spend the night would that be ok.. she thought that would be great. What an awesome kid I have!! :smile tee
Well know thinking that I was getting off pretty easy this year I am now really dreading the weekend with this child coming over. She hasn't come over since I have been sick.
And my double whammy.....at soccer practice last night we found out that they have scheduled the first game to be this Saturday too! Wow, it is going to be a tiring weekend!!!

Well everyone wish me luck! I am going to need it. This weekend with Soccer, the friend that I really don't like very well, Sunday baking and decorating the birthday cake then finally Monday night at my Mother-inlaws for cake and gifts. Next weekend my family is coming in town and we get to do this allover again

You might consider purchasing that cake! I plan to get an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday later this month.

Warm hugs,
Donna

You know, I would love to just to save myself the time and work. But I can't do that to her. She has sacrificed enough for me as it is. Also she has watched me make cakes for others this year and I just won't do that to her.

However, I was able to talk her out of a handmade dolphin cake into a sheet cake decorated like Island with swimming dolphin decorations that she picked out and edible shells and palm trees for the beach. She always wants to help me so this will be a great opportunity for her!

Rest as much as possible in-between.
I admire you for being a soccer mom. We start the sports stuff next year, luckily.
But I've been to soccer games for my neice and nephew. I always waited for them to have games in Maryville before I went. That way I knew the restroom status.:)

Uuuuugggghhhh!!!!!
I hate the restroom access at the soccerfield!!! I cringe everytime I have to go inside one of the two smelly, icky portapottys that we have. Although we are planning to have a permanent concession stand with restrooms in the next 2 yrs. I can't wait for that day!!!! I am almost willing to bring my own urinal and hide out in my van to relieve myself as opposed to where I relieve myself there now.

Geez, what we go through for our children, huh?

Jaime- does Maryville's field have restrooms?
We play at Forks of the River off John Sevier Hwy.

Yep, we will do just about anything for our kids. Well I have to say grandchildren too.

The field (Maryville Middle School) is off Montvale Station Road in Maryville.
It is across the street from Sandy Springs Park.........so...........yay....there is a public restroom down from there.
I feel so comfy going somewhere that has a bathroom really close by.:)

I seriously am thinking of investing in some sort of potty I can put in my van!
