I live here in Oahu and have been diagnosed to have IC for almost two months although I have been in pain for about 7 months now. I am taking Imiparin (? spelling)- an antidepressant pill every night to relax my inflamed urinary bladder. I still have bad days but more manageable than before I took the medication. I get depressed sometimes because I am on IC diet that totally deprive me of about 95 % of my old faithful foods. My blood pressure seems to have risen. I am continually trying to experiment what I can do to get a life. I don't know anyone here who has the same condition I have, but now you are the first one I came across here. I don't know if there are any IC specialist here but my new urologist gave some articles to start with two months ago and now I do my research thru the internet. If you wish to exchange info, I would likee that. Cheers!
