Onions?

Can someone tell me if onions cause flares? I am trying to pinpoint what I ate that caused this flare I have today. I am reasonably not stressed and didn't have my usual coffee, etc. I ate onions 2 days in a row (raw). Thanks for the help!

According to all the information I have read, onions are one of the things IC-patients are supposed to avoid, but unless you can eliminate everything else you ate as a possibility... I dunno. (I'm still new to all this and figuring out the food issues myself.) :( But I believe you can consider onions as a possibility.

Raw onions are a problem for me. I can eat dishes containing cooked ones and use a slice of onion when cooking a roast, etc.

I could not and STILL can not tolerate onions of ANY kind, raw or cooked.
