A Spanish speaking member of the ICN who is pregnant would like to know if it is ok to take Prelief during pregnancy & if there are any interactions to be aware of. Also what is the dosage during pregnancy?

Thank you.

I'm not an expert or anything, but I woul think that it would be fine to take during pregnancy. My doctor told me it was a harmless supplement, and that I could take as many as I needed to to get relief. If I'm wrong, somebody correct me!!!!

Good Morning:

Prelief is AkPharma's brand name for calcium glycerophosphate, an over-the-counter supplement made from an FDA Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS)
mineral.

There is no evidence to indicate that Prelief is other than safe, but if you are pregnant or lactating, you are always on warning for anything you eat or drink, and we recommend that you check with your doctor.

Please do not hesitate to contact me direct at bcorson@akpharma.com or 1-800-994-4711 if you have any questions.
