I'm thinking it might be fun if those of us in the DFW area could get together to sit around & chat & not drink coffee. OR we could get together to sit around, chat, drink coffee AND then see who can scream the loudest from the pain.

Hello to all of you.

I DO still want to start some kind of support group - whether it's an "official" support group or not.

But just to let you know -- esp. if any of you have emailed me privately....

My uncle died last Friday & I've been extremely busy helping the family make funeral arrangements.

The funeral was today (Wednesday AM) and then this afternoon my doc's secty (NOT my doc called to tell me that I had an abnormal brain MRI & must have yet another one. Praying it won't be MS or worse!

So please give me some time. If anyone else from our area wants to take this on - to get things rolling -- be my guest!

There was a great support group in Plano before the ICA kinda folded and I helped start it when I was affaulated with the ICA. I quit for personal reasons. It did fold later. Yes, I would love to come to one. I live about 65 miles north of Dallas. But I can drive there on a good day. It would be fun to sit around and chat an make new friends. Hugs

I also live in the Dallas area and would be interested in going to a support group, I'm new on these boards also and was diagnosed less than a year ago. Please let me know if you guys will be meeting anytime soon.
