Oh, yes.... I LOVE LOVE LOVE it when my boss is not here. The whole lab relaxes, and everything moves at a more comfortable pace. I feel free, and everyone else smiles more :)

Work is a bit dull and slow but I can handle that! I am the boss' personal assistant so when he is gone I have very little to do. I wished that he would let me take time off when he is away but he has always been weird about that. Wants me to be here to handle his phone calls and business, blah, blah, blah.

But things are waaaaaaay relaxed and I could definetly use some of that right now!

I don't work but I have to say I agree with you on my husbands boss being away from the office. We "all" feel the relief!!!! Enjoy your break!!!!

My boss has been with me a year, hardly knows her job, doesn't know my job at all. She doesn't give me any work, I generate my own, (it comes in the mail from all over the State) But yes, when she takes off I can tell the difference. (there's only 2 of us in our area- no one watches over us-- I usually have to be here when she isn't here, just in case something happens!)
