After cyst/hydro-pain is worse!

I had the cystoscopy and hydrodilation done on June 29th. My pain is getting worse! I do not have the burning pain when i go to the restroom,and sometimes i have the sharp pain, like glass is cutting when i do go to the restroom.But today when i had a bm, later on in the day, it did burn after i peed. I do not even know how to describe this pain!!!It feels like i can feel the bladder filling up! My right kidney will hurt and under my right rib will hurt. Some days it is worse than other days. Yesterday, i felt like i should have gone to the ER, but i kept hiding the pain, so that my sister would not worry.Today the pain would come and go, from mild to gritting my teeth (and smiling!!) I just moved in with her last Friday.(After being in a relationship for two years.) I never let my family know how bad i hurt. I just tell them if i start crying, then take me to the ER! Something about trying to be brave, i guess. My stomach feels like it is swollen and looks it. There is alot of pressure! I wish i could describe it better! I took Lortab 10/500 and it did not help at all!!! Any ideas on what i can tell the Uro, or what meds to ask for? And is this a flare? Do flares last this long? :confused:

Maybe you should have your urine tested for infection.
Swollen IC belly and pressure are pretty common symptoms; if you are retaining that could make it swell, too.
I've had a couple of non-stop 5-6 months flares. :( But am doing much better now.
Hope you get in to see your dr and start feeling better soon.:pray:

Thanks for the idea to have the urine tested! I seem to forget that because every time i do, they do not find anything...The doctors office was to call me today..but they did not..too busy..i guess..i will call them in the am..It seems that when they told me in 1992 that i had FMS, i was so relieved!! Now i had a name for feeling like i got hit by a truck! Then in 1995 when they said Lupus, I thought well, thats not too bad..my mom has that and so i had been looking up stuff and going to drs with her, Then in 1998, they said beginning of SD, I said..I do not want that...And now..IC.yikes!!! In between all of this, a history of several kidney stones, two neck surgerys, a hyst in in 1989 at 29! And my mother is sick, and i have had 2 divorces in 3 years, and one of my sons just dignosed with mental illness at the age of 21! So it has been rather stressful..lately..lol
But it has been such a blessing to find this web site, and be able to talk, vent, or just to get incouragement from other people's stories.
