Hi all,
I just wanted to post that I have just completed 23 units of online classes. I counted it up & it was 33 assignments (18 papers!), since May. I'm a teacher & I took classes on gang intervention, student motivation, parent conferences, Cesar Chavez, teaching Latino students, art history (Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera). This was pretty much my summer vacation. I now have a week off before going back to work.
I wasn't sure I'd be able to do it, but I really wanted the pay increase I'll get from this, and it was really really good to set a goal for myself & complete it. And that it had absolutely nothing to do with IC was also very important, because sometimes I feel like my life has been taken over by my bladder.
Just wanted to encourage others with IC out there that it is possible to still have goals & aspirations even with this crummy disease. Also that online classes are an excellent way to do continuing education without commute or attendance hassles:)
