Got my hair cut and instead of having the same woman (she wasn't there) I let another lady do it. She cut it way to short which by doing that took the fluffness right out of it. Before all I had to do was wash, let it air dry, put a little bit of spray on it and poof. Instant fluffy hair. Now I ahve to use just about a whole bottle of spray just to get it have way poofy. I look awful with flat hair. Plus, she had a ring on every finger. Don't they know when they wash hair with rings on hair gets caught in them??? Will have to let it grow out. Once again. Just call me flat head for now. :bonk:

Been there, done that --- and it grew out very quickly. Now if I could just figure out a way to make my hair curl --- even just a little.......

Donna- Redken's gel is AWESOME for curling hair, well it doesn't do the curling but if you use rollers or a curling iron... it will definitely keep the curl.
Waterflow- if you don't mind spending the money, there's a product called "dirt" by "Jonathan Product" that works WONDERS for giving hair body, it will seriously give your hair SO MUCH body.. you'll use less the next time so it will be a little flatter... you can get it from Sephora and QVC that I know of.. I think it's 20something dollars but it's sooo worth it! and you only need to use like a dime size so it lasts forever.

I remember a joke that goes something like this...What is the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut? Two weeks:)

I don't get the QVC channel anymore :shake: and the last time I checked his web site that was the only place you could buy his stuff from. I know about the high prices of good shampoo/conditioner ect. I can not use store bought kind. It does a real number on my hair. I use Kerasilk shampoo and conditioner. What is Sephora? Never heard of the place. I'm in a small hick town.

Sephora is a beauty supply store... kinda like Sally's but an upper class version of it. They carry department store brands like Clinique/Lancome as well as salon products like Biolage etc... as well as hundreds of other brands. I'll PM you the website.

If you put the "dirt" in your hair while wet, and then blow dry... your hair will be huge (blow dry hair upside down for best results)! Oh and if you don't mind spending around $50 for a hair cut, there is a salon chain called Tony and Guy all around the country.... I've never gotten a bad haircut from them, their hairstylists usually look kinda wacky but they give awsome hair cuts and really listen to what you want. You can google them to see if there's a salon in your city.

I googled them and the nearest salon is NYC which is an 8-10 hour drive one way.

WOW that's far! I love them though, there are some hairstylists that don't work in their salons but still do their training through Tony and Guy in California.... just ask around in the biggest city near you.
I drive an hour to mine.... had a horrific hair experience as a child where the hair stylist chopped off about 2ft of hair instead of 2inches... pretty traumatic soooo I just drive. lol but 8hrs is a little far!
