We have rain!

It started out to be another hot/humid day but we had a thunderstorm and it has cooled down a lot. Only in the 80's, with some humid but not over 100 degrees. :bow: :bow: Don't know how much more of that I could have taken. :shake: My lips and tongue are still sore and my mouth feels very dry so hopefully I can start rebuilding fluids in my body. Just can't drink enough for that kind of weather. Bladder was soooooo mad at me for flooding it.

Its sad when we pray for rain. It has been really bad here the last couple of weeks. Places that normally dont have high temps for summer are suffering bad to.

Here in Louisiana with the heat we always have the humid air to, but with this heat wave seems everyone is having the humity (spelling) problem to. Makes it seem so much hotter than what it really is.

I hate summer. Fall is my favorite time of year, not cold not hot, just right. Even with all the hottness going around, my yard seems to be surving for once, plants in the front of house not so lucky....

Hope everyone stays cool and hydrated. Remember does not take long to get heat exahustion/stroke....

same here in the midwest but we did get rain here too.

It seems the only thing that will grow no matter what the weather is like are the weeds. I sure can grow them big and strong. We did get another shower so it sure helped to cool things down even more. Really glad for the break from the heat. I like fall time too. Just right weather. Plus the crunching of the leaves.
