Nobody with IC in Illinois?

I just received my IC diagnosis yesterday and have searched online for any support group in IL or even southern WI, but I can't find any. Is there anyone out there???? :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Hi Karenina,
I don't know where you would find an IC support group other than Chicago. I believe there is one there. I found it a long time ago when I was checking out this site. I live in Aurora. I think the problem is that we are all scattered, and driving to one location would be tough for those of us who don't live close. :(

When I am really down, I get on the message boards. It helps me to feel less isolated.

Karenina, I live in a small town in Illinois. No support group here. This wink site has become my support group. I have been diagnosed with ic for two years. I"m from a small town in Illinois too, and the closest group to me was Davenport Iowa, But I have tried contacting the woman in charge of the group with no responce.

Greetings! I'm near the Peoria, IL area. I only know people with IC through this site. In fact, I don't think I've ever met anyone in person who had IC. It can be a challenge not to be bummed out my this illiness that's for sure, but the ic-network has always been a great help to me.

i live in racine, wisconsin, and i am not aware of any southern wisconsin support groups. (and i'm not ambitious enough or in pain enough to start one myself).
