My uro doesn't believe in broth cultures

Asked my uro at the appointment today about broth cultures she said Step B, D, and enter.... (sp?) would show up on regular cultures. I would have to persue this one on my own if inclined.

That's very common unfortunately! I had my doctor ordered it through my hospital but it cost me more and was not as effecient as UML....,

Yeah, one URO I spoke to said the same thing. I can't wait to get my negative culture in a few months and mail it to him to prove that he was wrong! I'm lucky that my current URO has treated someone like this before and was willing to help me out.

Yeah unfortunately I haven't had any luck with uros either. I think they are mostly good at helping old men with prostate problems (well at least none of the ones I saw helped me). They are also totally oblivious to the bladder problems Lyme can cause.

Very frustrating I know :(
