Did you take meds while breast feeding?

Im 35 weeks so soon I'll have the baby on the outside and hope to breastfeed again like with #1. I didnt develop my IC til after I had my son, but I seemed to have remission while I was BFing, probably because the body sucks up every last bit of moisture to make milk. After I quit BFing it was bad though. I havent been taking my Detrol while Ive been pregnant, but the way I feel right now I feel like I cant wait to have him so I can start taking someting for some relief. I havent asked my Dr if its ok to take Detrol while BFing. Did any of you who breastfed do so? Or is there another med that is better to take while BFing?

Your best bet would be to contact your local La Leche League leader to find out. They have tons of resources and will be able to tell you whether detrol is safe while nursing or if other similar medications are a better choice. Good for you for breastfeeding!
