:help: :help: Well, it's good to hear that botox has worked for Rhea. I am in constant pain and my Dr. right now isn't extremely simpathetic. She only prescribes a small amount of vicodin and won't prescribe anything for sleep which is really killing me. How do you all sleep at night? I don't sleep til at least 2:00am and I just cant take it much longer!!

Have you had the botox? If so, has it helped for you?

I had it done a year ago and it really worked well for my nighttime frequency. I was able to sleep about 6 hours without getting up. The botox began to wear off around the first of the year and my uro would not do it again because my insurance changed and the new company would not cover the procedure so he wanted payment in full in advance and we did not have that much money so I did not get it done. I have not found anyone else in the area who is doing the botox so I have not been able to have it done again. In fact, I quit going to him altogether because I just didn't feel like he had my best interest in mind. As far as sleep and nighttime I ended up getting the interstim and that has restored my ability to sleep so at this point I do not take any meds for sleep.

Sad isn't it that money has so much control over the kind of care we get.
