Is IC an inflamatory disease?

I just came from the doctor and my bloddwork shows a T4 free level as high which to the best I can figure has something to do with inlfamation and my thiroid, then then my CRP cardiac reactive protein ( another inflamatory indicator) is also high. Is IC part of a series of inflamatoy things that I have to look forward to? I read on line vit e is good for inflamation. Any other alternative things? My doc has me going to my primary for an overall check. WHat a pain! Here I was thinking I have finally got this thing understood!
