I agree, the weather today is horrible. I have to drive an hour and a half later today to see my uro. I don't want to cancel my appointment because I've been waiting so long to see him. I'm not looking forward to driving in this weather though. I hope that is stopping snowing soon.

Does anyone have a good uro they would suggest?
I'm thinking I might need to get a new one. I'm starting the search.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Brat! Thanks for the offer. I live in the metropolitan detroit area. The urologist I currently have I've only seen twice - the very first time that I saw her she told me she thought I had IC - yet she seems to be so rushed and just tells me to do things, but doesn't tell my why. I have to ask a lot of questions and be very proactive. I'm just a little annoyed that it seems like I'm bothering her or something. Last time I was in she came into the room to do the cysto with someone else with her. I assume it was a medical student, but I can't be for sure because she never bothered to introduce me. I was somewhat appalled and just wanted to get the test over and done with. It was around the holiday time (Christmas) - so I decided I would give her one more shot - but if I don't get a good sense from her, I'm going somewhere else.
I have to get a referral from my primary care doctor - or to be honest I would have already gone somewhere else. I've been trying to research good docs vs. bad docs and it's so confusing. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. I defintely have IC symptoms but it's not completely confirmed that I have it. I think my sypmtoms are milder than most - but can be pretty bad at times.
Thanks again!
