Hi everyone!! I just wanted to take a minute a brag a little on my youngest son. All three of my kids started playing baseball this year. My daughter is 12 she played softball and my stepson who just turned 12 and my baby who is 10 played baseball. We started with practice and so forth back in April. But anywho my youngest made All-Stars....I was so very, very proud to say the least:woohoo: . He is not the strongest hitter, but has a arm out of this world. He played right field. Going back a forth to practice, games and so forth was eating us up in gas and time:dizzy: . None of them had games or practices at the same time. We were at the ball park 6 x a week. And I was hoping once all the regular games were done that would be it. But he made it and I consider it a honor since he has never played on a team before.

Anyway say a prayer they have their tournment this weekend. And say a prayer for me 90 degree heat and sweat does not make for a fun day. Especially if it is all day long, like the last tournement. Thanks

Congratulations to your son! Both of my son's played baseball, but thank God they were 7 years apart in age. I remember taking them to practices and games and then playoff games. Many summer days were spent at the ballpark. I enjoyed it so much! I so miss those days. It was always an escape to go to the boy's games. I would sit there and cheer for everyone.:woohoo:

I was brought up going to baseball games and sang "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" when the kids were all babies.

Enjoy those ballgames with the kids, because you will miss it when they get older.

Thanks guys!!! Its been hard but great also. The youngest his team was just really good. His coach was in the Military and they did so much running before the season started. We joked well at least they will know how to run. He was teaching them to steal bases....But anyways thanks again guys..

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember when my kids played baseball. Those were sweet days back then. All three of my kids played ball one year, thankfully 2 of them decided to not play the next year. For awhile I didn't know if I was coming or going.

Good luck on the games this weekend, I'll be rooting for you here in K.C.:woohoo: :woohoo:
