Does anybody have trouble with sweeteners

I have gained alot of weight due to meds and limited activity, does anybody have trouble with artificial sweeteners?

I would say most of us have problems with them and they are extremely irrititating to most IC bladders...they're listed as a huge DON'T on the diets lists out there.

I can have the occasional caffeine free diet coke, but to use packets....ugh no way...sorry. I know you were hoping for a different answer :(

But you know, they say even the artifical sweetners may cause you to gain even more in the long-run, that they somehow mess with your body's natural metabolism...

I do fine with Splenda, but even it bothers some ICers.
