Went to the doctors today and I was looking forward to what he had to say on the information I left with him last time. He hadn't had time to look into it so I will have to wait until I see him again. :( He is really busy and has always looked into what I left with him before by the time I saw him again but I was just kind of despirate for something new. :(

I know, honey, he let you down. :( Doctors do that far too often.
Please don't give up hope - look at all the new treatments left to try - something is bound to work for you! Hopefully next time he'll have something else for you to try.
Blessings,
and hugs,
Lori
(I'm sad today too.)

Sorry to hear you are sad too Lori. Hopefully, you are feeling better by now. My doc didn't mean to let me down. Just he gets busy and sometimes just doesn't have the time. It was a big list so I am hoping he will find something to come up with. he did say there are new experiments out there but he didn't say what. I'm pretty sure with the experiments you have to travel to the place for them so that would be out but I will wait and see what he comes up with for next time.

I'm feeling much better today, thanks, I hope you are better too! :)
I'm glad your doctor is learning about the new experiments and reading things over - it sounds like he really truly does want to help you as best he can! So that's a good thing.
I'll bet for sure he'll have something else for you to try next time! And a lot of those trials for new IC drugs are held in so many places, you might very well be pretty close, actually!
Plus I'll bet there are drugs that he could prescribe, that maybe you haven't tried yet...you probably read about me trying Cytotec earlier and now Cyclosporine-A....there are lots of meds to try beyond the standard couple three that we all start with, so please don't give up hope yet, don't stop trying!
(((HUGS))) Hope today is a better day for you. Maybe you could treat yourself to watching a nice movie that you like, or a nice meal that doesn't set off your IC (I know too many things are no-no's for us), or maybe even just a nice long nap in the middle of the day. Just something so you feel taken care of and pampered! Sometimes we feel better if we pamper ourselves.
Blessings,
Lori
