Thanks everyone for all the info. I took Lyrica for two weeks, 75 mg in the day and 75 at night, it seemed at first right after I took it to get rid of/lessen the shooting pains, but after two weeks, doesn't seem like it is helping at all. I'm looking into Elavil and will ask my doctor about Ultram for spasms. I don't know who feels like this, but I feel like I'm going backwards, I have no doctors trying to figure out how I can be healed and now I'm just trying to find a way to numb the pain/cover up the problem~ I'm wonder if there is anyone out there that has had urethral sydrome or pelvic pain sydrome and gotten over it? Has anyone had either of these and then gotten IC? I've tried everything and don't know where to go now! Is there anyone out there in the Colorado area that has seen Emmey Ripoll? Help!

I do have some info about doctors here in Colorado and yes, I've been diagnosed with urethral syndrome but now understand that it's really the same as IC, but that IC isn't all the same thing, either. Anyone else in Colorado want to connect and share info? Please contact me, Nancy

I ALSO LIVE IN DENVER AND HAVE FOUND A GREAT DR. HER NAME IS NEL GERIG AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT HER. I KNOW OF TWO PHYSICAL THERAPISTS. MARY MCREYNOLDS AT ROSE HOSPITAL SPORTS MEDICINE. STACY TUCKWELL AT CENTER FOR PHYSIACAL WELLNESS. MY PFD IS JUST ABOUT AS BAD AS MY IC. ERIN, HOW ARE DOING ON LYRICA? I HAVE BEEN PRESCRIBED IT BUT I AM NOT SURE IF I WANT TO TAKE IT. I HAD REALLY BAD REACTIONS TO NEURONTIN. MY BRAIN FOG WAS SO BAD THAT I COULD LOSE MY KEYS UP TO 4 TIMES IN 5 MINUTES. THAT DRUG WAS EVIL.:bonk: I AM SURPRISED THAT THERE ARE NOT VERY MANY PEOPLE WITH IC HERE, I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN A SUPPORT GROUP IF YOU KNOW OF ANY.
