Does anyone know of a urologist in Arizona who has experience giving Botox shots?
Thank you.

I am posting a reply to my own posting! I have found three urologists in Phoenix who give Botox shots and am having the procedure done tomorrow. If anyone needs a name, please write me.

Hi

I hope that the botox works for you. I am having botox this week in Miami, fl. I've had it 6 times and this will be my 7th time. Is your insurance paying for your botox? My insurance is paying for my. I have a $50 co-payment. Good luck. Deborah Bush

Deborah,
How quickly did you feel the positive effects from your Botox shots? I received 10 injections into my bladder on Monday but have felt nothing so far. My doctor said I should have felt the effects immediately but I've read differently on the message board. What happened for you? I also had it done in the doctor's office with minor pain. And, good luck on Friday!!

Hi,
I sent a personnal email, but I wasn't sure it got off to you O.K. Please let us know your progress and if it helped with pain. Pain is my main problem. I am considering Botox since nothing else has worked yet.

Also could you post the Dr. Name and Phone # or city he is in. Thank you and I sure hope that it helps you!!!

Rita,
I just had the procedure done on Monday and have felt no results so far. My doctor told me that I would feel immediate results. She also told me that botox would not affect my pain levels. I had it done to diminish the frequency (I don't have urgency). I am hoping that to feel a difference in a couple of weeks. My urologist is located in Scottsdale, AZ and she is Dr. Elizabeth Kornfield at 480-949-1212. (She works part-time). Her partner, Dr. Robert Santa Cruz, also administers the shots and sees I.C. patients. I can recommend another doctor in central Phoenix, also, who sees I.C. patients and gives Botox shots. I hope this is helpful!
