Does Botox work for frequency & Urgency?

Just curious if Botox works for the relief of frequency and urgency or is it just for the relief of pain?

What botox does is kill some of the nerves....so it really depends on why you have frequency.

Spasms? Rentention? shrunken bladder? inflammed irritated bladder? nerve problem?

I would hope you make sure it isn't spasms, retention, or shrunken bladder before you turn to botox.

Danii, I had Botox done for frequency & urgency and it as worked for me. I just finised a 3 year trail study with a doctor in Miami, Fl. Know I have to pay for my Botox. I was going 60 times a day know I am going 8 times a day.

How long did it take before you noticed a difference? Did you have it done in the hospital under a general or in the doc's office?

When I had botox done it helped me with frequency and urgency.

Just have another question. How long do you get relief from using botox. I don't think I would consider doing this if I only got relief from my symptoms for a short amount of time.

I had my 2nd treatment June 12th and so far, no signficant change. We did 100units in 12 places. How many units did you use, where, and how many injections.
