Hi everyone,
I am a 34 year old male with prostatitis ( I think ) I had a stricture removal 4 years ago and struggled with penal pain and slow urine flow. A few months after the cysto, my symptoms went away. I have always seemed to have frequency, not interfering but I went alot more than others. I usually get up at least once a night to go.
A couple of months ago my symptoms came back. I was going through a ton of stress and sitting alot more than usual. I went to the uro who put me on uroxatrol and cipro. When that didnt work he did a cysto in the hospital.
The cysto revealed some tumors in my bladder which the Uro removed. I am waiting on the biopsy from that. I ALSO had a stricture near the tip of my penis. Since the procedure, my bladder is ultra sensitive and weak it seems like. The stricture removal seems like it hasnt healed or maybe inflammed still so its like a double edged sword. I have even more frequency now and only little bits come out, half the time I need to push it out. Am I just healing from the surgery? It was last Monday. The only instructions I had were to take the cipro and 3 sitz baths a day (yeah right, I work)
What do you guys think, still healing? I didn't have urinary symptoms other than slow flow and penal pain before the cysto. Now I feel like I am never finished going and have to go all the time. I have a vicious commute to work, an hour and 45 minutes each way but my symptoms came back before that. Of course I have a computer job where I sit all day so I wonder If that slowed my healing, I dont know. What does everyone think?
