Ic & Ibs

I have both IC & IBS, usually I'm not real swelled when I get up but as the goes on I swell more and more, is it the ibs or ic?
With IBS, is your abdomen the only place that feels swollen, i feel swollen all over
Lately, I've been having alot of bladder spasms.

I don't know about the swelling later on in the day being either IC or IBS...could be both. I know that with my IBS gas activity can increase it....and I have it all over when if flares.....I so hate my bad IBS flares because I can hardly move .....I hurt EVERYWHERE! everywhere I have had surgery or something is a pain spot again because of the pressure......

things that have helped my IBS gas: probiotics, Beano(with all food), diet, hyoscyamine. Hopping to try fennel and peppermint soon.

I have IC, and lately the doctor thinks that my interstim is setting off IBS - which until lately I did not realize I had. The interstim worked at first, but then started affecting my bowels. I was very anemic back in February, had to have a transfusion, and iron, and now I am bloated all the time so she thinks I may have IBS with C. Can anyone tell me what helps with the bloating - I'm swollen in the morning, but at night I look really pregnant and its so depressing. thanks!
