Prozac side effects

What has been your experience with Prozac? I think it may be bothering my IBS, which in turn aggravates my bladder. Plus, I feel tired and lethargic and sweating is elevated. Hmmm...

I was on Prozac 20 mg for a year for depression. It was a miracle med for me. I didn't have any side effects like you mention, but it was long ago, pre-IC when I took it. I'm trying to remember, I think maybe I had just a little gastric distress in the first week, nothing serious that would make me stop taking it, but this only lasted for that first week or so. But with IBS I imagine that would be more of a problem. I don't know about the other side effects. Have you looked up possible side effects? Any other meds you are taking that it could be interacting with?
