Ibs C&d?

I have always had consitpation most of my life. In the past couple years, it seems I have IBS that alternates between the two. I'm on medication right now which I think is causing the IBS/D. I had a colonscopy about 4 years ago and it was fine. My stools however rarely ever look normal. Now with the IBS/D they are either long and flat looking or small narrow ribbons. Is this what people with IBS/D experience? I'm getting worried about the shape but since it's been going on for years like this, it must be IBS or I'd be in worse shape I think.......Who knows anymore.

I seem to experience the same thing as you. I have never officially been diagnosed with IBS, but I suspect it.
