Hiya,

I have just discovered that i am pregnant. 5 weeks today.
I am really over the moon.
There are a couple of concerns that i have though.
As i have had my bladder removed i now have a mitrofinoff which i have to catherterise. Am i going to be able to see this once i get my bump????????
Also would i be able to opt for a cacerian (sorry havent a clue how to spell it). as i am scared i will spit open with all the pushing. he he he

Congratulations!!!! I don't know what to say in regards to your pregnancy belly and your bladder removal, but wanted to say congrats! I am sure if you talk your concerns over with your OB you can get some kind of plan for your pregnancy, as well as the delivery.

I delivered my daughter via Cesarean (she was a complete breech) and my IC was better off for it.

Congrats on the pregnacy!! If you are unable to see where to cath, you can always use the aid of a mirror with a stand. That way you can positon it where you need it so your hands are free. Good luck with the pregnacy! This is such exciting news!! I did have a c-section. You can request one if it is what you prefer. However, if there is no medical reason, insurance would balk at paying for it. But, if you are willing to pay out of pocket for the differance between it and a vaginal delivery, your dr may be willing to do it anyway, if you prefer. Good luck!! Hugs, Amy
