Last night about three a.m we heard our four dogs barking. (we where still up watching a movie, but fixing to go sleep.) Its normal to hear them at night barking but this was an unusual bark. My husband got up went out on the porch he seen something up near the basketball goal. I figure it was just one of our kids bikes, but NO! my husband said get the gun. I told him he was crazy. so he came in got dressed got the gun walked up in the shallow part of the yard. it was a motorcycle! We had no idea who it belonged to what was going on nothing. My husband yelled out in the wood where our dogs where barking at but no one reply back! He then yelled for me to call 911. I was freaking out!! I called 911 at first we only had two police cars out here. We where ask to stay on the porch so we didn't mess up any evidence. Soon later they ended up being a total of eight police cars here, and searching the area. they brung in two blue bone hounds the one named Holly was the one that found him a 150 yard from our home laying down in the bushes. He had no light with him and couldn't see where he was going.
come to find out the cops had lost him on number 11 they where in a chase. they clocked him at one time going 162 they where running 130 trying to catch him. He cut down our road then He had turned his lights off lyed down in the field while they went by him then rolled down into our yard to try to hid until he thought it was safe to leave again He wasn't expecting our dogs to rat him out. HA HA!!
He was carried off to Jail.....If only he had stopped for the blue light all he would had gotten was some tickets for having the wrong tag, speeding and no driver lis., but no the dumb butt decide to try to run and hide!
I guess you can say I have four GREAT guard dogs that I wouldn't trade for the world!!
All in All I'm beat from being up all night. I have had about four hours a sleep I also have a UTI and kidney infection. (got to call Dr's office in the morning to get this cleared up!) children are up so a parent has to be up with them. (if only my oldest would behave and take care of the eight year old me and hubby could sleep but all he wants to do is pick on his little brother and cause problems!)
I pray to God this man doesn't come back down here with revenge in mind!
The thoughts of that scares the heck out of me!!
Well that is most of what happen last night. I'm going to try to rest a bit. (If these kids will let me.)

Love you all!!
Rhonda

Glad you are all ok. Sounds like an episode of COPS, scary. He'll have some quality time behind steel to think about his bad choices.

I called last night to he Jail (the police while they where here gave us his name.) he was out on bail by eight p.m. I told the lady I was speaking to i was scared, and also this all happen at my home and I have children. she already know what happen this is small town, but she was kind enough to tell me what he looked like and if he came to our home for any reason to call 911 tell them what happen when he got out of jail and about what time. they would pick him up again if needed be.
after talking to Jill today. (thank you Jill) she settle my nerves a bit. I don't think he will come back here. We are not what is important to him right now. he has a lot of other things he needs to worry about. I shouldn't worry so much.
but if he does come back. My guard dogs can have him until the police get here! I also have three guns. one 7mm I've never shot. it would break my arm it has such a kick. (hubby hunting gun) my grandfathers shot gun (also a huge kick) then a rifle. (i can shot that one.) but if i had to get one of the others to protect me or my family in anyway I will.
who would had thought this would happen in such a small town? seriously it seems like something out of the movies to me.......but yet I know its real! :::::::sigh::::::::

Thank you everyone. I figure it would be in the local news paper, but so far we have seen nothing. it may not be because of the time it happen? three a.m sunday morning until six a.m sunday morning, but then again the paper run things late too so that may be another issue.
but in either case it was the most scary thing I've ever or my family has ever had to deal with.

xoxox to you all thanks for your support so much!!!!!!
Rhonda
