Okay. I ordered my cystoprotek 10 days ago and still have not received it. I live in Michigan. I still do not see that the charge was even posted to my credit card account. I know they got my order as I got an email from them saying they received my order. How long does it usually take to get this stuff??? I am sooo depressed I don't even care to go on. I have been housebound for 2 weeks as I feel like i am going to pee my pants every time I get up and walk around. What kind of life is tihs. I have never felt this horrible in the 16 years I have had IC. I started Elmiron 2 months ago and the last few weeks I feel worse. Can Elmiron make you worse? I also started Vistrail 4 days ago. I hate this disease. I want to trade for something else.

Holly, the last order I got it seemed like it was about 10 days, but they should've charged it to your credit card by now. Have you called them?

I ordered it through the ICN store. I called them, but I got a recording and they are supposed to call me back.

I wish I could help you out, but I ordered mine right from Algonot - as it was cheaper to ship it since they are out of FL. I wanted it right away, so it was a more cost-effective option. I too am from MI and it took about 5 days to get if from them, so I imagine yours should be arriving any day! Good luck with it! So far so good for me, with a few dosing changes along the way, lol. ;)

Hi Holly, I had a problem too, but I order directly from them. When checking out from the order screen online I asked for two day shipping and it didn't arrive. I was so mad because I paid 27.99 for the faster shipping, and I still only got it in 5 days. I called Algonot and they got back to me, and sent it overnight. I ordered Thursday evening and did not get it until Tuesday morning. They said that it is better to call them directly if you need faster service. Online they do not receive the orders right away, and that the two day shipping applys only after they receive the order. (a little misleading to the consumer). Anyhow my advice: I thought I heard there was an autoship plan available on this site, or plan way ahead. I ordered the four bottle package this time
so I wouldn't run out. Hope you feel better soon!!

Glass - you hit the conundrum that all store owners deal with. Each postal carrier and postal offices have their own unique deadlines each day for express mail deliveries. For example, here in California, it's 11am. So, it's very rare that we can actually get anything out that day and, throw in a holiday, weekend or a location where express mail isn't available overnight, then we're all screwed. Your advice about having an extra bottle on hand is perfect. That way, noone will go out and there will be plenty of time to get orders out. - Jill

Holly,

Posting about an order in the message boards doesn't work because our order center manager doesn't read the message boards.

It usually takes about a week for us to process the order and then however long USPS takes to deliver it. It's always best to call and place your order by phone because those are processed daily where as our web based orders are batched every two or three days.

Please send an email to my sister Janice (shipping@ic-network.com), who manages our mail order store. Her son has been very ill this week, including a brief hospitalization, so she wasn't able to work for several days. It's been a rough two weeks here at the ICN and because I care for my elderly parents, I couldn't go up and fill in at the store. Mark, my 21 year old (and very hunky) nephew, has a very contagious form of mono that caused his throat to swell nearly shut. He wasn't able to swallow for days and my sis was frantic. And, we both agreed that I couldn't risk bring that back to my parents.

Glad to hear you're doing the Vistaril/hydroxyzine. It was so helpful for me personally that I took it for eight years and really credit it with stabilizing and then reducing my IC. But, it took just a bit to really kick in. So, don't give up too soon!

The symptom that you're having of feeling like you're going to pee when you walk sounds like you're having a really bad pelvic floor muscle flare right now. That's really not typical of IC... but when those muscles are tight, then it's the movement of walking that makes them feel worse. Or, if you're leaking, it could be that the muscles are just a bit weak. If I were you, I'd ask for a pelvic floor assessment immediately. The good news about muscles is that they are treatable... but it takes some physical therapy to do it. Take a moment and read some of the guest lecture transcripts on our site about pelvic floor work.. particularly Kotarinos and Anderson. http://www.ic-network.com/guestlectures/

Also, if you're feeling desperate, as we all have on occasion, please make sure that you find someone that you trust to talk with. Whether it's a family member, friend, doctor or therapist, it's important that you not do this alone.

You can also call a suicide hotline for help - 1-800-SUICIDE

I try to listen to a lot of music and write in a journal when I'm feeling particularly down.... and it helps me to just get those worries out. Also, every day, I try to break the isolation that I've often felt. Call your friends and invite them over for a video!!! Order in food! Have a good ole fashioned girl gathering.

Big hugs!

Jill
