I stopped doping the instillations after like my 20 time. For the first 6 I did DMSO then the heparin cocktail. I stopped because I believe that consistent instillations where doing me more harm. Instilling the catheter caused irritation in the urinary tract but most importantly as the bladder emptied it would hit against the catheter, I believe causing bruising in the bladder. I stopped doing the instillations and I saw a dramatic improvement in some pain originating inside the bladder which I believe was a direct result of the catheter touching the lining of the bladder
