Just popping in to say hellllllllllooooo!!!!!! :) Life with my daughter has been busy, as you all can imagine.

She had a very bad case of pneumonia for a couple of weeks. The doctor almost hospitalized her. We were very lucky that we were able to bring her home and not hospitalize her. We were giving her amoxicillin 2 times a day, and nebulizer treatments every 4 hours. She's finally getting over it, but now, she has begun springing her first tooth. Soooo the teething stage has set in and so has the crabbyness.

I cannot believe how miraculous life is with Belle. Her gummy smile brings me to my knees and her giggles and cooing make even the crummiest day so much brighter. I think of my life pre-Belle, and cannot imagine what I did with my time. My life was so meaningless, and I am so blessed.

Chris got a great promotion and is happy with his new job. Life is pretty good. My IC is ok, I pretty much handle it with pain medication. My InterStim is being removed in July. I had to post-pone the first surgery because of Belle's pneumonia. So it comes out around July 9th.

Here is a picture of me and Belle. She is our little miracle, and we love her so much. (I'm done gushing now!)

Hugs!
Jess

Good luck with the Interstim removal. :grouphug: Healing hugs and prayers for a quick recovery!

Jess, Belle is an absolute doll!!! It's amazing how a baby's smile can make a bad day turn out good, huh? Enjoy that little girl all you can because they sure grow up fast! I'm so glad that she didn't have to be hospitalized & I hope that she gets over this pneumonia quick! Poor Belle! Good luck with your interstim removal!

Wow Jess she is a baby doll!!!!!! I'm so sorry she has been so sick on you bless her little heart!! I'm so glad to hear she is starting to get better, but sorry to hear she is going threw the teething phase already poor baby. I found that tylonal without any oral gel was best because after that first teeth come in it should be much easier for the little dear to handle the others. I also liked giveing my children a cold wash cloth to chew on. or one of those cold teething rings. so are very helpful too.

Sending you both hugs and prayers. (thanks so much for showing us an updated photo.)

Thanks so much!!! :::beaming with joy::: The mark of a true parent, though, is when you go to bed singing the Number Of The Day song from Sesame Street...LOL!
