What do you use to keep your catathers and syringes clean for multiple uses. I am talking about the 20ml syringes to pull meds out with and the 60ml syringe that fits into the catather?
Thanks

Antibacterial soap and warm water. Betadine, mixed with water, also works good

If you are using the red rubber caths, you can wash them with antibacterial soap, rinse WELL, and either boil or microwave them (microwave in a Ziplock bag while still damp so the steam sterilizes) if you want to make absolutely sure they are clean.
If you are using the harder, clear Mentor caths, these cannot be boiled or microwaved (they melt ... :lmao: ) ... however, usually antibacterial soap and rinsing is fine; then store them in clean baggies or between towels washed with bleach.
For the syringes, you can clean the barrels (plastic parts) the same way; antibacterial soap, rinse well, and microwave. As for needles, I recommend either using a new one since they rust pretty easily, and that causes all sorts of problems, or being really careful. They can be dipped in rubbing alcohol (70% ethanol) from the drugstore a few times if you need to reuse, but only do this 2-3 times.

I don't believe in instillations and you can read about that under the instill. tab, but if you are going to do them don't reuse them, if you have to buy new ones and reduce the instillations
