OK, so Heck's Kitchen starts tonight on Fox. I know it has gotten a bad rap, but I really like it. I can't help it. I'm excited. I was just wondering if anyone else is looking forward to it or even watches it. Tonight is the two-hour season premiere and I'm already thinking about saving up calories for a special snack while I watch! :)

Gordon Ramsey is a half-baked nut job.

We'll be watching it! It was great last summer! I will miss Dewberry...do you remember him?

Oh, gosh! I'm so glad I'm not alone. I have to agree that is fun because Gordon Ramsey is crazy! I do remember Dewberry. He either made me laugh or want to smack him - depending on the episode and what he was doing! Do you remember the guy with the kidney stone? My husband and I have joked about him and how he was wailing on the floor. Truly, I'm generally more compassionate when it comes to kidney-related things. BUt, that guy was over teh top. Earlier this year my husband had a two-month ordeal with a uric acid kidney stone. On one of our trips to the ER, he looked at me and said, "Remember that guy on Heck's Kitchen? Now I understand why he was going on like that." Too funny!

Hey there! Love the show. And, if you get the BBC America channel, he has a show on there as well. I can't remember the exact name, but it has Ramsay in the title, so it should be easy to find.
Who is everyone rooting for this year? It's a toss up for me, the guys are pretty goofy, and the girls aren't that special either. Maybe Heather. Even though she's a bit bossy, I was impressed by how she got burned so badly but kept helping as much as she could.

I was impressed with Heather, too. You are right, though, she can be a bit bossy. But, she seems to know what she's doing. THe poor guys. I almost feel sorry for them since they keep losing, but they are goofy. Sara is annoying me with her attitude.

My husband rolls his eyes at me, but it's my guilty pleasure each week. OK, that and BIg Brother...

I was glad Gordon sent Giacamo home. Forgetting to turn on the oven...not a good thing for a chef!:)

I think Sara is annoying too, and yes, Giacamo forgetting to turn on the oven....give me a break! What really gets me are the people that get so angry waiting hours for their food...hello...didn't they watch last season???

Heather is definitely one to watch right now...she went right over to the guys' team and turned things around in a hurry. And did anyone else want to smack Sarah after she lied to try and make the other girl (Virginia, I think) look bad??? Wow, some people are so ruthless.

I don't like Sarah at all. I didn't like her from the start and after all that business this week, I REALLY don't like her. I wanted to smack that smile off her face when Ramsey was yelling at the other women because of what she had done. (And I"m not a violent person!)

I agree about the people who get angry they aren't getting food. I would eat before I went there and then just relax and enjoy watching the craziness in the kitchen. :)

Yeah, I felt really bad for Virginia. Sara should have done the right thing and spoken up. With her behavior, it is hard to see her in charge of an entire restaurant.

I think Rachel should have been nominated to go home.

It was funny though when she forgot the money for ice.:)

I like Garrett, but I think it will come down to Keith (I think that is his name) and Heather.

Tom was funny!

There was a new post that showed up in my e-mail, but not now that I'm looking at the boards. Odd.

Anyway, I'm glad that Heather won. Keith was OK, but really had some attitude issues near the end. Virginia was also OK, but I don't feel like she was ready for her own kitchen, yet. SHe seems like she has more to learn before that happens. Heather didn't always do the best under pressure, but I'm guessing I'd be the same if not worse if I had Gordon Ramsey yelling at me every other minute!

Last night was almost mopey since it's over, but PrisonBreak started, so that was OK.

Hmmm...it was my post that didn't show up.

I am glad Heather won. She seemed like a nice, smart girl.

I thought it was unfair that Virginia got the training from Chef Ramsey.

I wish Keith would have kept his attitude in check. I think he had more talent than Virginia.

I feel exactly the same way, July. It didn't seem fair that Virginia got to do that training. I do think Keith is a better cook, but his attitude got him into trouble. Hopefully there will be another season next year! :)

I hope they bring it back next summer, too!:smile tee

I would like to see Chef Ramsey compete against Bobby Flay or one of the other chefs on Iron Chef America on the Food Network. A few weeks ago, I saw an episode of this show where the runner up from the first season of Hell's Kithchen competed against Bobby Flay. Chef Flay won, but it was a good competition.
