I'm in TN. I have not been checking in for a long time though. My IC is doing great! I use Prelief everyday and it has helped me so much.

I hope other TN people reply to your message.

Hi Katherine.
I think all Tennesseans have disappeared. Hope you're well. I've been busy recovering from this new heart condition from the pregnancy. And now I think I'm going into a flare. This is not good since I can't take anything w/all this heart medication. Baby is doing great though. He's gone from 3lb 15oz to over 6lb.
Take care,
Jaime

hello, i am still here. have been really busy getting over the surgery, went back to work and caught the flu. i am still taking the meds and doing alot better. the pvd seems to be getting better just on the muscle relaxants. i hope we caught this before it did much damage to the nerves. i am also on elmiron this will be my fifth month and it is really starting to work. i still can't have coffee but i gladly will give that up for no pain. also the flomax has helped with the split stream so retention is also better.
hope everyone is feeling okay!

Hey Tn s! I'm here, doing a lot of reading but not much posting. Anyone know of a good IC doc in Nashville? Mine just moved and I am left without a uro. Trying to get in to see a uro-gynecologist at Vandy, but no luck so far.

Hi all!

I don't post much, but I am Alexis from Memphis..

I have a great urogynecologist with UT. She just gave me a ton of prelief to try. I was only officially diagnosed last fall after 10 years of male uro's telling me they didn't know what was wrong but plying me with antibiotics anyway!!!

But I like living near such a great group of doctors! I feel really lucky!

Still here too!! Just busy with working again, working out, kids moving back home ect, ect..... After my surgery where I had my adhesions removed and my sacral nerve removed---I was able to quit the pain clinic, neurontin and detrol. I still have IC and it flares really good sometimes--bad pain!!!! I have been dieting to lose weight and with eating less and staying on the IC diet, my IC flares less. I am really getting relief from the elmiron instills also. I do them 2 times a week at home.
I have now lost over 22 pounds!!!! smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif
