Saw an amazing new breakthrough for IBS in Prevention magazine...

unfortunatley I didn't get to take notes on it and had to go into the doctor, (was in the office)but it said they had discovered a substance, (can't remember what they call it)that activates the protective lining of the colen. When this is absent the colen is subseptable to bacteria and infection. Has anyone seen this article? I'm sorry that I can't remember more detail.
