Best Meds for NOCTURIA

Hi there, just wondering if anyone can give me some advise on the meds that they have had the most success with to help getting up all night to pee! I have just started Amitryptiline, but the dose was 75mg and it completely knocked me out! Will start with a smaller dose next time!

For me, the Vistaril and Elmiron combination helped with the nocturia. I hope you find something that helps you.

I've been trying the amitriptyline for nocturia but only 10 mgm. Gee, I can't imagine how you managed to take 50 mgm. I only took it for two nights as it upset my stomach too much, and even though it didn't knock me out, I did feel pretty groggy until early afternoon the next day. I would definitely lower the dose to start with and maybe work up to a higher dose. My uro only prescribes 10 mgm for IC symptoms so I wasn't going to be increasing the dose anyway. I hope you find something that works for you as I know how tedious nocturia is!!
