Lupron----just curious

I was on it, in an attempt to make my IC better. My bladder did get somewhat (but not completely) better, but the hot flashes were so miserable, it wasn't worth it to stay on...

i was on the 3.75 mg dose to treat endometriosis when i started having bladder issues. one urologist thinks i may have had a bladder infection when i started lupron, and the estrogen loss just made things a million times worse. 2 cystoscopies have shown IC, several urine cultures have been negative. i'd never had blood in my urine until about 6 weeks into the lupron treatment.

i do not know about the ic/lupron connection because i had ic long before i had to take lupron for endo. i do think that the lupron made my bladder symptoms worse . and all the side effects-moodiness,bladder, insomnia etc.
for me it wasn't the right thing to do .it didn't help my endo at all.
