Oh, honey, you are very welcome. I just feel so bad that you have gone through so much in the past year. Please rest as much as you can, to let your body heal. I know your body must be very tired from the surgery, battling infections, battling the IC. I'm so glad to hear though that your IC is better. I hope so much it stays much better, or goes away completely in fact!
Did the doctor say if there was anything they could do for the hot flashes? I'm guessing your ovaries came out too, am I right? That would lead to some bad hot flashes at first. I'm told that usually people do adjust though and the hot flashes usually stop within a year (so I've been told.)
It's probably going to take some more time for your incision to heal, and all the stitches inside, too. Just rest as much as you can, and hopefully each day will be better and better, until you finally feel like yourself again.
Blessings,
Lori

Yes the dr. took my uterus because I had adhesions and endo . I had cancer a year ago ovarian cancer and they took one of my ovaries because it didn't spread they caught it early. She took my other ovary during the hysterectomy because it was in torsion and I had a huge mass on it and it was cutting off the blood supply to my ovary. She took my cervix also because of borderline cervical cancer because I had hpv since I was 19. I have no ovaries now. I go back to the gyn on June 8th for a check up and see how my incision is doing . I am going to ask her for some hormones for these mood swings and hot flashes.

Oh, my goodness, you poor thing. :( Well, at least now there is no worry about cancer, everything that could cause some trouble is gone. Hopefully you won't have any more health troubles, hopefully you will enjoy a very long period of perfect health (with the IC going away too!)
Blessings,
Lori

I am so sorry you are feeling crummy, but happy too that your IC symptoms are gone, hopefully for good! I had a hysterectomy 8 yrs ago at the age of 34, I still need hormone replacement therapy, but everybody is different. Just a heads up some ICers have trouble with some HRT meds due to fillers and dyes and such, so just be aware of that. My best wishes for a speedy recovery and a long remission,
Sonja
