Hello

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place, but anyway....My doctor wants to start me on this overactive bladder medication called "Detrusital". Has anyone heard of this before?

Just wondering if anyone here has had success with this type of medication? I've been on Elmiron for around 5-6 months with no real change so I'm going to add this and see what happens. Has anyone experienced any side effects from taking this?

Sorry, I don't know about that particular medicine, but I am taking Detrol LA. It was brought to my attention that this medicine could be why I am heat
sensitive. Other than for this problem, it really does help me. Infact, if I don't take it, I can't get out of the house. I still urinate frequently and still have pressure in the bladder, but the spasms not to severe, to the point I can't get out.

I hope for the best,
Trishann

Hey there, I used to take Ditropan, and it really helped me out! (same kind of OAB med) I had horrible spasms that I dealt with - urethral then bladder and this helped tremendously!! Unfortunately for me, it didn't really help my frequency, the other meds (Elmiron and hydroxyzine) did though.

Hugs!

I have tried both Ditropan and Detrol and neither has made much difference for me.
I hope you new med helps you.

Good Luck
