I met with my uro today and I got some samples of Algonot. I am going to see if this helps. If Algonot doesn't help I am going to try Cytotec. I am determined to find something the will give longer lasting relief. I am still takimg Elmiron but I have stopped taking Hydroxyizine. I have increesed my useage of Prelief and I have drank nothing but water the 48 hours Btw the results of the culture gave back negative but I am still am peeing every 20-30minutes although the burning has decreased quite a bit. Although I am feeling better today my period is due any minute ( just in time for the holiday weekend). I want to thank you ladies for all the support you have given me. I don't what I would do without these boards. Thanks for reading.

Hey there, I too just started taking the Algonot Plus a couple weeks ago - this week was my first week at 2 pills 3x's a day. I have read a lot of promising things about it, and from people who have taken it. I opted for it as the Elmiron was bothering my tummy too much. Not worth it. So, hopefully it will be the ticket!! Good luck!!! :)

Can we take Algonot and Elmiron at teh same time?
I want to take a a natural remedie while I'm taking Elmiron. So in case I have to stop Elmiron due to stomach pain I'll have another option.
I'm still doing my research on whether Ill take Algonot, spirulina o L arginine.

I know you can take CystoProtek & Elmiron at the same time. They tell you how much to take if you're taking Elmiron and how much to take if you're not taking Elmiron. I would imagine they do the same thing for Alganot.
I hope you guys have great success with this product!! As I've already told Traceann, CystoProtek has been great for me!

Yup, sandi303 has been one of the reasons I am even more happy to try it!! :) Yep, with my Algonot Plus shipment I too got the directions for taking both the Elmiron and it, and instructions on dosage for just the Algonot alone.

At the time I decided to try it, there was a notice here on the ICN Shop that the Cystoprotek was temporarily unavailable here and at the manufacurer due to the FDA's new labeling criteria etc, and I wanted to start SOMETHING, so I went with the Algonot Plus (which I ordered right from the Algonot site, was more cost-effective for shipping for me). I do plan to switch to the Cystoprotek when I am ready to re-order.

Good luck!!! :)

I know we are all so different in our symptoms and 'cures', I tried CystoProtect and instead of a stomach issue, I got the worst irritation of the vagina ever. I went off for a month and tried again...same deal, felt like a burning itchy yeast infection, which I am not prone to. Probably allergic to something in it. I hope it works for you all. I am Greek and certainly know the attributes of olive oil, and the Dr/inventor is a greek...I thought I had a lock!

Nope so far so good - no itchiness for me.

LOL ddemos, I'm Greek too, so for me that too was a huge motivating factor, LMAO!!! ;) A Greek doc's got to be good!! Hee hee hee!!! ;)
