Does anyone else get a strange twing, similiar to pins and needles feeling, kind of like an itch in a small pinpoint area, almost like something is on you, crawling feeling in thier upper thighs or upper buttocks area. Sometimes it feels like a vibration or shock, thouth it doesn't hurt. Could this be the bladder nerves doing strange things depending what they are conected to? I often get acky pain in upper legs. Thanks for any input. JCK

I'm certainly no expert; but it could be the sacral nerve, which stems in many different directions. Consult with your healthcare provider and see a physical therapist, they may be able to assist you in finding out what the problem is and resolving the problem.

You may want to test the theory by applying a cold compress (ice pack-follow package directions) to the lower back/upper buttocks. Sometimes, this calms the sacral nerves and the symptoms improve.

Best wishes, ICB :flower:

I too have an unexplained vibration feeling from time to time. It feels like I have my cell phone on vibrate mode and have it fastened to my side.
I noticed it after my abdominal hysterectomy in March of '05 and thought it might be my nerves reconnecting but even after a year I still have the sensation. I hope it helps to know you're not alone.

when i was feeling really bad for months at a time (not now, however:pray: ) i had those pin pricks, needles, stinging, itching, twinges, etc., etc., etc., in the vaginal area as well as pain/pressure in the bladder and off and on pain in the vaginal area; like a 'sick feeling' like a headache.

Thanks for the response, sometimes you feel like your just going crazy because the symptoms can be so strange with nerves involved. It helps to know your not the only one.

Just recently I have had vibrations going up my left leg starting at my knee and gong to my thigh. It reminded me of a vibration in pulse mode. Weird. I have been doing stretches that my pt had me do a couple years ago and it is gone. Not sure if that is what helped or not. Went to the chiro once with no results. I get pinprick feelings occasionally too, seems to go in spurts. I found out recently that I am slightly low on b-12, maybe that has something to do with it too. Who knows:dizzy:

after days and days of 0 - 1 or 2 pain (which is a godsend for me!!!), now i am having a (hurtful!!!!) tingle in my bladder down to the clitoris and vagina. it's not a happy feeling!!! :(

i had a UTI (unknowingly to me) and was treated with antibio's and just got over them, and now i notice my clitoral area seems 'yeasty'. GREAT. I look forward to another yeast infection, i guess. :headbang:

I get numbenss and tingling all over my body. I think it is due to fatigue lack of sleep. You would be suprised at what can happen to the body when it undergoes pain and lack of sleep for long peroids of time. I have had my nuro back this up for me.
