Strange symptom:pain in urethra when passing gas

Does anyone else get this weird symptom and why?

I have noticed I can have urethral or bladder pain with gas or stools, and I also can get bowel pain with urination at times. As far as why, I really have no clue. Maybe it has to do with the area being inflammed...like sometimes if I'm flaring, any bit of pressure to the area can cause pain. But, that's only my best guess.

My guess is that it is from Pelvic Floor dysfunction since passing gas and bowel movements affect the pelvic muscles especially if your straining at all....and the urethra is often one of the spots that feels my pfd flare ups the most. Look into treatments of PFD.

Self helps: moisture (baths), heat alternating with cold, and focus on relaxing those muscles!
