Hi-
Haven't been on in a bit. Was doing OK, and started with a wicked flare on Tuesday with the feeling of a hot old poker ramming into my bladder and urethra-and spasms OUCH. Left work, got some valium from a friend (a no no I know, but it helped) and took my pain pills- lots of them...off on Wed, work on Thursday then PT for PFD which made it bad again....so I felt like I was retaining so I thought it would be a good idea to do a quick cath- OUCH- again with the urethra stuff....cold packs on my "area" and my moist heat heating pad (which gets the most attention of anyone in my house) and only made it a 1/2 day to day at work because of course now I feel icky and tired and crampy. URGH. I havent' had a huge flare like this in a while...had to cancel all my plans. So sad.....called my MD for more meds (ones he hasn't prescribed but I have used in the past) and of course, it is Friday, so no call back. Frustrating as going through my pain pills like candy. It doesnt feel like a UTI- just ickiness. Anyway, any ideas of soothing the storm and just some general fluffing would be welcome.

PS....we have been batteling some fleas,,,,and I just saw another, could I please have no more insult to injury...URGH

Thanks:dizzy:

Could it be a start of an infection? If it gets really bad i would contact your doc-on-call or go to ER. Please don't wait till Monday for a call-back.
Hope you start to feel better soon. :grouphug:
