I think my burning and fatigue is due to candida. I did a few tests and it appears I have yeast. I have had this before so i did some reaserch and called a homeopathic doc i know. She has prescribed me something to rid the yeast and i shall get it next week. I continued to do reaserch and found that people who have chronic yeast problems should take some form of oxygen drops. The yeast can not live where there is oxygen. So i have ordered some and I am hoping that I have compleeted my puzzle. If this works and I am right I will have figured out everything I need to keep my symptoms under control. Please pray with me that this works so I can post sucess of this terrible illness.
And those of you battling chronic yeast may want to look into it yourselves.
Much Love

Dear Loro

I too see many alternative health practitioners and read a lot about homeopathic remedies. I have read much literature about candida and the health problems it can cause. Many have even attributed it to causing all of IC pain although i am not sure how true that is. I have also read that everyone who has been on anti-biotics, as almost all of us have for urinary tract infections have an overgrowth of Candida. I am just about to start an anti candida diet, its vrey strict and boring but you only have to do it for a few months. You do it along with taking the anti candida pills and a really strong pro biotic to put the good bac back.

I have read that candida cannout survive in an oxygen rich environment but i had no idea you could get in drops so thank you so much i will have to try and get some!!

Tons of luck with the anti candida i hope that it works for us both!!!

p.s my naturopath gave me a homepathic complex called Juniper oligplex ( he orderd it from germany for me) the main ingredient is Juniper juice and it has been wonderfull. i take 10 drops in water 3 times a day with meals and it has cut the frequency of my pain by about 50 % im not sure of the availiablity in the U.S but i would def rec trying it!!

big hugs Beccyboo:flower:

Hi Loro, I have just begun to look into alternative therapies, as I'm not getting any better with traditional medicine and dieting.

I just bought some Probiotics to try, and I hope they help. JUST this morning I found a very informational website that gives alot of info (and OF COURSE, promotes their product). I think there's probably alot of difference in the different candida treatments. Not sure where to go....EVERYONE promotes THEIR product, so I just started with Natrol Acidophilus (got it at CVS).

I'm going to continue my research on this as it really makes sense! One thing I read in this article this am said that when an overgrowth of yeast leads to a systemic problem, that all of the mucous membranes are affected, as well as the whole body!

The oxygen drops make sense too. Hmmm, I wonder if you would even need to take supplements with oxygen drops...if the oxygen drops make our bodies inhospitable for the bad organisms, maybe that would relieve any overgrowth?

I'm praying that you have finally found the last "peice of the puzzle" for you! Keep us posted!! :grouphug:

all probiotics are diffrent so it may take you a while to find one that works for you but they are good for promoting healthy bacteria. I myself used to be on an anticandida diet an for a long time. The problem was i was not getting enough nutrients as I was allready admiting alot due to bladder irratants. I got the oxygen drops in the mail today and I am sipping on it now. It is said to promote energy as well. The ones that I am taking have no taste at all you add 8 drops to 8 oz of water 3 times a day. The good thing about this too is that since they are drops one per oz it is easy to start at a low dose if your ultra sensitive. I myself am not into advertising I just try things and if they work then i write about them. To me it makes sence to take oxgen think how fast things heal on the outside. IF i can change the enivorment maybe I will have a chance to feel well. I am very hopefull and excited.

I forgot to coment about the yoga. The yoga helps with my stress levels and i am sure it helps with other things that i am not aware of. It is said to help with digestion and circulation. I do ones geared tward stress and meditation and it helps me escape for a while. I have not yet learned to take it to the outside world as when i am not doing yoga but I think when my constant pain becomes a memory that will be easier to do.
Be Well everyone
I will try to keep in touch when i can I hope to fix my computer soon.

A heavy infestation of yeast usually will not respond to the usual types of self help strategy. If you can clear your yeast up with one or two Diflucans or by using topical treatments when you get it, then you probably just have a local infestation.
If you cannot control yeast with these measures then if I were you I would get myself to a physician who specializes in yeast treatment. He will culture, do allergy testing, blood testing and get to the bottom of just what type of yeast it is and how best to kill it.
There are many physicians in the Florida area that do specialize in treating systemic infections. There are two in Bradenton which if I remember correctly is next to Sarasota? Dr. Chin Young Cho and Chin yong Lee both MD's. There are many others in various suburbs but I am not sure which are close to you. If these guys also do chinese medicine as well as western you have a great duo to work with.
Best of luck,
Sammie

Thanks Sammie, I am actually working with a homopatch doc. I don't belive int aking the difulcan and it is definatly not local. I have had candida before and I have gotten rid of my yeast on my own. This year I have added the fruit back in my diet as i feel malnournished on the diet that I was on. My diet is still very limiting and from the sounds of what everyone else eats it still is. I have been to those drs you mentioned and they were not able to help me. I actually have come a long way on my own and I feel very close to sloving my puzzle. I am having a bitof a problem with my uro at the moment. He does listen to me and his office is rude to me so I will be on the search for someone new. If you can believe it i have never had a vaginal yeast infection. Alot of doctors don't like that I actually know what I am talking about and I freak them out. I think they feel kinda small when i come in there and i end up teaching them somthing which happens a lot.
I should be getting my homopathic in by the end of the week. I am taking Pau d’arco its good for a lot of things The plant contains a large amount of chemicals known as quinoids, and a small quantity of benzenoids and flavonoids.he main plant chemicals in pau d'arco include: acetaldehydes, alpha-lapachone, ajugols, anisic acid, anthraquinones, benzoic acids, benzenes, beta-lapachone, carboxaldehydes, chromium, chrysanthemin, dehydro-alpha-lapachone, dehydroisolapachone, deoxylapachol, flavonoids, furanonaphthoquinones, hydrochlorolapachol, 2-hydroxy-3-methyl-quinone, 6-hydroxy-mellein, iso-8-hydroxy-lariciresinol, kigelinone, lapachenol, lapachenole, lapachol, lapachones, menaquinones, 4-methoxyphenol, naphthoquinones, paeonidin-3-cinnamyl-sophoroside, phthiolol, quercetin, tabebuin, tectoquinone, vanillic acid, vanillin, veratric acid, veratric aldehyde, and xyloidone.
Its actions are
# kills bacteria
# thins blood
# kills fungi
# inhances immunity0
# kills leukemia cells
# mildly laxative
# kills viruses
# relieves rheumatism
# relieves pain
# dries secretions
# reduces inflammation
# fights free radicals

i also started my oxygen drops today. I took one dose yesterday but today will be my first full dose. I have a feeling I will be doing well pretty soon I don't know why I just feel at peace.

they seemed over priced to me but I liked where they were comming from. I had tried the cell food instead but I flaired from it, I had to much toxin release at the same time. I am now looking into olive leaf extract. I am not going to try it before christmas tho because I just do not have time to be dealing with die off. I have changed my intire protocall actually and I will be updating as soon as I know more.
