Im at work. I work 5pm-5am. Ive been fighting with what feels like a UTI all night. Im thinking I might be in a flare. Im supposed to start my period any day now so Im wondering if this is why Im not feeling well. Im also getting over a yeast infection.:headbang:
I took a tylenol and went down to the truck stop to get some rolaids. Just took 2 of them. Im also drinking lots of water hoping it will help.
Its making me tired and irritable. Not the way I like to be working with my drivers. I usually have more patience. Tonight everything is making me mad or annoying me.
Thanks for letting me vent.:hi:

We completely understand. Vent away hun. I can get very symptomatic while I'm at work. It puts so much pain and pressure down there from all the standing I have to do. Half the time I just want to go home and crawl in bed. I hope you're feeling better by now.

I know how you feel. Today is one of those days when I can barely make it 8 hours. I dont know how you can go 12 hours, overnight! you are one strong woman. I think people understand a little testiness, every once in awhile! Hang in there.

Ive been very open with my co workers and drivers about my IC. So when I tell someone that I dont feel well, they understand. I love my drivers to death! I did feel better that next morning. The tylenol helped. I was off for my three day weekend, and was supposed to start but didnt till late Monday. (When I had to be back at work) Since Im still not feeling 100%, and now its early Tues AM, I think I might try to run to the doc to test for a UTI. Im still new at this IC thing, and I just want to rule it out. I havent felt this uncomfortable for this long since I was diagnosed.
I am lucky that I dont have to stand much. I work a funky two week schedule with 12 hr shifts. I work 2 days on, two days off during the week, then we rotate 3 day weekends. I like it! If it turns out that I dont have a UTI, I am thinking about getting one of those cushions for "desk drivers" (as my boys call us dispatchers).
I love yall! Thanks!:elvis:

KC, it wouldn't hurt to get tested for a UTI. I know I did everytime I went to the doctor, GP or Uro, just to have peace of mind. Of course it was always negative, only showing a trace of blood, but still you never know, right?
Also, did you know that the ICN Shop sells those cushions? I am getting ready to purchase one for our road trip that is coming up. I know personally that when I take road trips that my tailbone really hurts, so it's worth giving it a try. Hey, when I purchase my newbit kit, there was included some of those heating pads. Again, I haven't tried them yet, but will be in a couple of weeks. I'm gonna see if there is someway that I can plug in my heating pad in the truck, even though the truck has heated seats, once I put down my "touche cush" (SP) the heat probably won't radiate through it. Can you picture that? Traveling in over a 100 degree weather (heading to Arizona and Nevada) and having the heated seats on? HA! LMAO! Oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
Anyways, hope you don't have a UTI and start feeling better real soon.:)
