I'm in Valdosta, GA. Just above Florida. Hey Kathy, Do you visit the Urology Health Center in New Port Richey?. I drive all the way their from Georgia to see Dr. Perez. He is awesome. He is the one who gave me the diagnoses after the looney doctors here had no clue.

Hey Dean I was wondering is that Dr. Ramon Perez> I was referred by my pain dr. to possibly go see him. Can you tell me what kind of treatment he has you on? I have heard some pretty good things about him and I am considering going soon. I would appreciate any info you have. Thanks a bunch Lisa

Dean, Yes I go to The Urology Health Center. The whole center is great. They even have a research center where they have tested various IC treatments. Dr. Perez is going to be doing a talk on What's new for pelvic pain & urology. Limited seating, so you have to call for a reservation. Maybe one day we can meet at the office. Smiles, Kathi

Dean and Kathi, has Dr Perez helped either of you? I see a doc in Tampa, but I have a friend who goes to Dr Perez and loves him. Kathi, when is Dr Perez's talk?

Hi Kathleen, I don't go to Dr. Perez, I go to Dr. Rabinowitz. When I needed a dx ASAP Dr. Perez was away & I didn't want to wait. Dr. Perez is very good (his wife has IC) I can't remember when his talk is but you can call at 727-842-9561 and ask. Hugs, Kathi :)

I was wondering, has a support group started up again in NPR? I just went to the first mtg of the group in Spring Hill (very good, but only 4 people, including myself).

Hey Lisa and Kathlen,
Yes Ramon Perez is awesome. I drive 4 1/2 hours just to see him. The entire Urology Center their is on their toes. Dr. Perez really knows the bladder. Perez currently has me on Algonot Plus which is suppost to rebuild the bladder. Its not a drug. I actually had to order it from the company itself. I also take Tylenol 3 and Elavil for pain. Elavil works but it will make you feel sluggish and very tired.
Hey Tina, I maintain the landscape at the Targets of Jacksonville. So if you ever go to Target remember me, the IC lawn boy.
